I am continuing weekly Bible studies/counseling. I have 3 men that currently could use your prayers all though I can not share their names due to confidentiality. I had 3 teen boys today for the Saturday teen Bible study. Originally, it was planned as a one on one but two others asked to join. two of the boys are still unsaved but wanting answers. two of them earned a Bible at youth night on Thursday by memorizing verses. the one has been reading it since Thursday and had questions ready for today’s Bible study. We tutor him on Mondays and Saturdays. He is failing most of his classes due to a reading disability that was never diagnosed. Please pray with us for wisdom in helping him, a greater understanding in his mind and helpful resources.
Kelli enjoyed her Bible study in James 1 with one of the girls (14) today. The past 2 weeks they were able to do it via video chat due to time constraints. On Tuesday, our family was able to attend a field hockey game of one of our teen girls. Another girl that attends church on Sundays, once every 3 months, was also playing. She ended up coming to youth night on Thursday. We had no idea that she was going to be playing but God used that to make a connection with her that brought her to youth night.
Our ministry partner’s wife, Chrystal, had surgery on Monday to repair her meniscus. She is still having pain and balance challenges. Please pray for healing. Tomorrow, we are having a church family over for a Mother’s Day lunch. Pray that we can be an encouragement to them.
